About the CEO
Carl DeFazio is the founder and CEO of Carl DeFazio Private Investigations. Mr. DeFazio served as a United States Marine and is retired from the New York City Police Department. In 1995 he was designated by the Southern District of New York
to conduct a fact-finding mission in Malaysia, Philippines and the United States pertaining to the first World Trade Center bombing in 1993. His company was also very instrumental in the aftermath of the 9-11 tragedy, securing Battery Park City as well as other sensitive locations in and around the World Trade Center site. He has had occasion to interview and debrief international terrorists and utilize his experiences to better safeguard his clients and protect their assets. Mr. DeFazio has developed and implemented security management protocol in numerous residential and commercial buildings in and around the tri-state area, as well as overseas. Currently he is a licensed private investigator and resides in the Princeton, NJ area. Mr. DeFazio is an avid golfer and affiliated with numerous charities.
